About Ben
The Boy from the Bush!
Ben grew up on a beef cattle and cropping property on the Liverpool Plains in North West NSW. His parents and many of his family are still farming, so he understands the business of farming and how farmers think.
He is the Managing Director of Exceed Financial, a financial planning practice based in Brisbane, with a significant proportion of clients located in regional Queensland and New South Wales.
Ben has spent his career in the Financial Services Industry advising farmers and business owners on how to turn farming or business success into Financial Freedom using his unique “Farming Wealth Transformation Framework®”.
Before starting Exceed Financial, Ben worked for various boutique advice practices, large institutions and, whilst living in the UK, a specialist hedge funds management business.
To complement Ben’s wealth of experience, he holds a Bachelor of Agricultural Economics from the University of New England, a Diploma of Financial Planning from Deakin University and is a qualified Certified Financial Planner®.
In 2016 he won the Queensland “Charter Value of Advice” Award and in January 2017 went on to win the national award which recognised the significant improvement in his clients lives, due to his advice.
